Getting started at EgoGames is not a single big bang but a journey in four stages. On each of the first four deposits we add a percentage of its own, and every stage brings free spins on a different slot. Added together, that is up to €2,750 in bonus money and 335 free spins.
On this page we go through the egogames1.com welcome bonus the way it feels in practice: what should be clarified before the first deposit, what each stage looks like, how wagering works with real numbers and where new players most often stumble. The recurring offers that follow the package are described in detail in our weekly promotions with reloads and cashback. The bonus is aimed exclusively at adults aged 18 and over.
Before the first deposit is made
The best moment to deal with a bonus is before the deposit. After that, the clock is ticking. Three things should therefore be clarified in advance.
One's own budget
A bonus enlarges the playing balance, but it changes nothing about how much of one's own money should be staked. We recommend first setting an amount that can be lost without discomfort, and only then looking at which stage of the package fits it. A bonus that tempts a player into a higher deposit than planned is no advantage.
The available time
Each stage runs for ten days from activation, and free spins for a single day. Anyone who will hardly have time to play in the next ten days is better off postponing the start to a quieter week. The package does not run away, because it is tied to the first four deposits, not to a date.
The preferred games
For wagering, slots generally count in full, table and live games only to a much smaller extent, and some titles not at all. Anyone who plays almost exclusively at live tables therefore gets little out of the welcome package and often does better with the weekly cashback. Anyone who likes spinning slots, on the other hand, fits the profile perfectly.
The four stages of the EgoGames package in the cashier
Here are the four stages in the order in which they are unlocked:

| Stage | Top-up | Bonus cap | Free spins | Slot |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| First deposit | 110% | €500 | 110 | Gates of Olympus 1000 |
| Second deposit | 75% | €750 | 75 | Bigger Bass Splash |
| Third deposit | 50% | €1,000 | 50 | The Dog House Muttley Crew |
| Fourth deposit | 100% | €500 | 100 | Revenge of Loki Megaways |
A minimum deposit of €20 applies to each stage. No bonus code is needed. The cashier automatically suggests the next stage, and a tick decides whether it is used.
Stage one: the strongest start
More than double the deposit as playing balance, plus 110 spins on Gates of Olympus 1000: for most players, the first stage is the most attractive. The full cap of €500 is reached with a deposit of around €455, but for most beginners even a small amount makes a noticeable difference.
Gates of Olympus 1000 is a game without classic paylines. Wins come when enough identical symbols lie on the grid at the same time, and in the free spins Zeus can hand out multipliers of up to 1,000x. The slot fluctuates strongly: many spins stay empty, while individual ones can swing considerably.
Stage two: the medium deposit
At 75%, the top-up is smaller, but the cap is €750. This stage plays to its strengths with medium amounts. The 75 free spins go on Bigger Bass Splash, the bigger sibling of the well-known angler slot, in which a fisherman collects the values of the cash fish during the free spins.
Stage three: for larger amounts
Half of the deposit as a bonus with a cap of €1,000: in percentage terms this is the weakest stage, but in absolute numbers the largest. It becomes interesting for anyone planning a larger deposit anyway. The maximum is reached from €2,000. On top come 50 spins on The Dog House Muttley Crew, a slot with sticky wild symbols in the free spins.
Stage four: a conciliatory finale
To finish there is a doubling again, so 100% up to €500, plus 100 spins on Revenge of Loki Megaways. The Nordic-themed title works with changing reel heights and therefore a variable number of ways to win per spin.
What 30x wagering means in euros
Wagering is the part of a bonus people puzzle over the most. Yet the principle is quickly explained: before bonus money can be withdrawn, it has to be staked a certain number of times. In the EgoGames welcome package, that is 30 times the bonus amount. 30x wagering also applies to winnings from the free spins.
The bonus is not staked all at once but round by round. Every stake on a game that counts in full moves the progress bar a little further, whether the round wins or loses.
Four everyday calculations
Small start in stage one. €50 is deposited. The 110% top-up brings €55 in bonus, and the balance is €105. For the bonus: €55 times 30 makes €1,650 in playing volume. At 50 cents per spin that is 3,300 spins in ten days, at €1 per spin 1,650.
Medium amount in stage two. €300 is deposited. With 75%, €225 in bonus is added, and the balance rises to €525. The wagering is €225 times 30, so €6,750. That is an amount that can only be managed with regular play over several evenings.
Larger amount in stage three. €450 is deposited. Half of it, so €225, comes as a bonus. Here too the wagering is €6,750. The comparison with the previous calculation is interesting: stage three requires €150 more in deposit for the same bonus amount as stage two.
Modest finish in stage four. €25 is deposited. The doubling brings €25 in bonus, and the balance is €50. The wagering is a manageable €750, which is easily achievable in ten days with small stakes.
And the free spins?
Suppose the 110 spins on Gates of Olympus 1000 bring in €18 in total. These €18 land on the account as bonus money and must be wagered 30 times, so €540. Only after that are they withdrawable. The timing is important: the spins themselves must be started within one day of being credited.
What we take away from these numbers
First: small deposits result in small, easily achievable wagering. Second: with large amounts, wagering quickly grows to orders of magnitude that cost real time. Third, and this is the most important point: wagering is an amount of play, not a promise of winnings. The entire balance can be lost along the way before the bar is full. Accepting this means seeing the bonus correctly, namely as extra playing time.
Which games move wagering forward
Not every stake counts equally. The rule with us is simply worded, but it has a big effect day to day.
The basic rule
Most slots count with their full stake. Table games and live games count only to a much smaller share. Individual jackpot titles and selected games contribute nothing at all. The exact shares are stated in the bonus terms in the account.
A thought experiment on weighting
How strongly this matters is shown by a purely hypothetical example. Suppose a table game counted only one tenth. Then a stake of €10 there would bring just €1 of progress. For €1,650 of wagering, €16,500 in stakes would suddenly be needed instead of €1,650. That shows why a bonus and an evening at the blackjack table rarely go together.
The lobby section for bonus players
So that nobody has to guess, our lobby has the "Bonus Wagering" section. It lists only games that are suitable for bonus wagering. With an active bonus, this section is our first click. Anyone who wants to browse afterwards will find the complete selection in the game lobby with all categories and studios.
Volatility and stake size while wagering
Besides weighting, two further levers influence how relaxed wagering turns out.
Calm or wild slots
Slots with low to medium volatility pay out smaller wins more often. The balance therefore melts more slowly, and the progress bar has more time to fill. Highly volatile slots are a gamble when wagering: they can use up a balance in a few minutes, but can also bring a hit that easily carries the rest of the wagering.
Our personal approach: with a small bonus, play rather calmly so as to get anywhere near the target at all. With a big bonus and plenty of time, a wild title is fine in between, but not exclusively.
The right stake size
A higher stake per spin fills the bar faster but also uses up the balance faster. A low stake stretches the balance but requires more spins. For most players, a good middle way is a stake of roughly one hundredth to one two-hundredth of the balance. With a €105 balance, that would be roughly 50 cents to €1 per spin. During an active bonus, stake limits also apply, which are stated in the bonus terms in the account.
Tracking progress
In the account area, a bar shows how much of the wagering has already been completed and how much is still missing. Next to it is the time remaining until the stage expires.
We recommend not seeing this bar as a countdown that absolutely has to be beaten. If it becomes clear after a few days that the target is not realistic, it can make sense simply to keep playing normally and let the bonus expire. Real money that is still on the account and has not been played away is not affected.
What we do not recommend: raising stakes sharply shortly before expiry in order to force the wagering through. That is the moment budgets tip over.
Accepting, declining or cancelling a bonus
The package is an offer. Each stage can be used or skipped individually.
Accepting
With a qualifying deposit from €20, the next stage appears in the cashier. A tick activates it, after which bonus and free spins are credited.
Declining
Without a tick, the deposit goes through normally without a bonus. This has a clear advantage: everything on the account remains real money and can be withdrawn at any time after verification. Important to know: the package is tied to the order of the first four deposits. Anyone making a deposit without a bonus should check in the account beforehand how this affects the next stage, or ask briefly in the live chat.
Cancelling
An active bonus can be ended before it expires. In that case the remaining bonus money and the winnings arising from it are forfeited. This makes sense above all if plans have changed, for example because a withdrawal of real money is wanted.
The four slots behind the free spins
Each stage brings spins on a different title. That is no coincidence: we wanted new players to get to know four very different playing experiences in their first weeks. Here is our honest assessment of each of the four slots.

Gates of Olympus 1000
The king of the gods sits enthroned beside a grid of six by five fields. Payouts are made for groups of identical symbols wherever they lie, and after every hit new symbols slide in. The special feature is the multiplier orbs, which can rise to as much as 1,000x in the free spins round and add up over the course of the round. Our impression: a lot of idling, then suddenly fireworks. For the 110 spins of the first stage, this means that the result can fluctuate greatly. Some come away with a mini win, some with a surprise.
Bigger Bass Splash
Anyone who knows the angler classic finds their way around immediately, just on a bigger scale. Fish symbols carry cash values, and as soon as a fisherman lands on the reels during the free spins, he collects all visible values. More fishermen extend the round and raise the multiplier. The title is catchy and well suited to anyone who does not want to study rules for long.
The Dog House Muttley Crew
Dogs, bones and collars: visually the title is rather playful, but mechanically it is quite exciting. In the free spins round, wild symbols with multipliers stick in place and affect all subsequent spins. Especially with the 50 spins of the third stage, this can make for a calm but steady course.
Revenge of Loki Megaways
To finish, things get Nordic. The reels change their height with every spin, so the number of ways to win changes constantly. That makes every spin a little unpredictable. For the 100 spins of the fourth stage, the title is a good choice, because the tension is spread over many rounds.
The bonus by budget
The package adapts to almost any budget, but not every stage makes equal sense for every amount. Three profiles as we see them day to day:
With €20 to €50 per deposit
For small amounts, stages one and four are the strongest, because they more than double and double the balance respectively. The wagering stays manageable: with a €30 deposit in stage four, that is €30 of bonus and €900 of playing volume. At 20 cents per spin that is 4,500 spins, at 50 cents 1,800. Stage three with 50%, on the other hand, brings little with small amounts.
With €100 to €300 per deposit
In this range, all stages play to their advantages. Stage two with 75% is particularly balanced here. With a €200 deposit, €150 in bonus is added, and the wagering is €4,500. That is achievable but requires several evenings of play within the ten days.
From €500 per deposit
Anyone depositing larger amounts should above all know the caps. In stages one and four the limit is €500 of bonus, in stage two €750, in stage three €1,000. At the same time, the wagering grows considerably: €1,000 of bonus means €30,000 of playing volume. For many, the weekly cashback is then the more relaxed alternative, because it manages without large wagering.
No matter which profile someone fits: the budget comes first, the bonus second. Never the other way round.
Verification and bonus
A point that is often forgotten: before a withdrawal is possible, we check the identity of the account holder. The process consists of four steps, including a short liveness test via camera.
This is relevant for the bonus because many players only think of verification after completing the wagering and then have to wait until the documents have been checked. Our advice: complete verification straight after registration. Then nothing stands in the way of a withdrawal after the wagering. Which data we process in the process and how long we store it is explained in our privacy policy.
Using the bonus on mobile
The complete welcome package also works in our web app on smartphones and tablets. Activating stages, starting free spins, checking the progress bar: everything is just as accessible on mobile as on a computer.
Two notes from practice. First, bonus terms are harder to read on a small screen, so it is better to go through them once calmly on a larger screen before the first activation. Second, many slots run smoothly in portrait mode, but some seem clearer in landscape, which can be more pleasant during longer wagering sessions in particular.
How we write bonus terms
Bonus rules have a bad reputation in the industry, and often rightly so. Long paragraphs, nested exceptions, important figures in tiny print. At EgoGames we try to do it differently.
The most important values of each stage, meaning top-up, cap, minimum deposit, wagering and deadline, are shown with us right at the top of the promotion card in the account and not in a footnote. The weighting of the game categories is clearly listed in the terms, and the lobby section for bonus-eligible games takes care of the calculation work.
Nevertheless, a remainder of rules remains that needs to be read. Anyone unsure about a point is best off asking in the live chat before ticking the box. Our team is happy to explain every condition a second time, around the clock. All routes to support are on the contact at EgoGames page.
Bonus and withdrawal: how the two fit together
This is where most misunderstandings arise, so very directly: as long as a bonus with outstanding wagering is active, not everything on the account is freely available. Bonus money and winnings arising from it only become real money once the wagering is complete.
Anyone requesting a withdrawal during a running bonus risks, depending on the conditions, losing the bonus and bonus winnings. Our recommendation is therefore: if a withdrawal is planned in the next few days, it is better to deposit without a bonus.
Regardless of the bonus, fixed limits apply to withdrawals: a minimum of €20, a maximum of €500 per transaction, up to €3,000 per day and up to €20,000 per month. Before the first withdrawal, the account must also be verified. The complete account and withdrawal rules are in our terms and conditions.
The package or rather cashback?
Besides the welcome package, EgoGames has a second bonus model that works completely differently: the weekly cashback. Both have their place, and the choice depends on the style of play.
| Feature | Welcome package | Weekly cashback |
|---|---|---|
| Timing | immediately on deposit | after the end of the week |
| Amount | 50% to 110% of the deposit | 8% to 25% of net losses |
| Wagering | 30x | 10x to 1x, depending on level |
| Suits | slot players with time | live players and occasional players |
| Activation | tick in the cashier | automatic |
Our conclusion: anyone who plays slots a lot takes the package and gets cashback on top. Anyone who mainly visits live tables can skip the package and rely entirely on the cashback, which becomes ever more generous as the level rises. How rate and wagering improve over time is explained in the EgoGames VIP Club.
After the package, it continues
Once all four stages have been used, everyday play begins with recurring offers:
- Midweek: 100 free spins on Sweet Bonanza with a qualifying Wednesday deposit.
- At the weekend: half of the deposit as a bonus up to €100, from a €40 deposit, plus 50 spins on Big Bass Splash.
- At the start of the week: cashback on the net losses of the previous week.
- At any time: the Coin Shop, where credits collected during play are exchanged for free spins on titles such as Book of Fallen, Temple Tumble or Money Train 3.
On top come our Battles, in which prize pots are played for on selected slots. How the scoring works is on the page about tournaments and leaderboards at EgoGames.
When the bar is full
At some point it happens: the progress bar stands at one hundred per cent. What happens then is pleasantly unspectacular. The remaining bonus balance is automatically converted into real money and is available for a withdrawal from then on, provided the account is verified.
From this moment, no bonus rules apply to this balance any more. Live tables, table games and jackpot titles are open again without restriction, and the stake limits from the bonus phase no longer apply. Anyone who wants can initiate a withdrawal straight away or simply keep playing.
A moment we recommend to everyone: after completing the wagering, pause briefly. Is the original budget still intact? Is there a win on the account that should be secured? Especially after a long wagering phase, the temptation to start the next stage immediately is great. Often a withdrawal or a break is the better decision.
A month with the package: the example of Jana
To make tangible how the package can feel over a few weeks, we have put together an example. Jana is a fictional player, but her journey resembles that of many we accompany in the chat. The amounts are examples.
Week one. Jana sets a monthly budget of €200 and verifies her account straight after registration. She deposits €60 and activates stage one. With €66 of bonus she has a €126 balance. She starts the 110 spins on Gates of Olympus 1000 the same evening. She spreads the €1,980 of wagering over four evenings at 50 cents per spin, mostly on calmer slots.
Week two. The wagering is complete on the eighth day, and a small amount remains. Jana leaves it on the account and uses the 100 spins on Sweet Bonanza on Wednesday without starting a new stage of the package.
Week three. On Monday the first cashback arrives at the entry level. Jana deposits €80 and decides on stage two. With €60 of bonus and €1,800 of wagering, she deliberately plans two calm weekend evenings.
Week four. Part of the budget is still left. Jana skips stage three, because 50% hardly matters with her small amount. Instead she redeems her credits in the Coin Shop for spins on Temple Tumble and ends the month exactly within the planned framework.
What the example shows: nobody has to use all stages immediately. Jana adapted the package to her month, not her month to the package.
Three questions we hear most often in the chat
"The free spins are gone, what happened?" In most cases, the one-day deadline has passed. Spins that have been started run to the end, spins not started expire after the deadline. Our advice: it is best to use spins directly after crediting.
"The bar is hardly moving." It is almost always the game selection. Live and table games count only to a small extent. Switching to the "Bonus Wagering" section usually solves the problem immediately.
"Why can't everything be withdrawn?" Because part of the balance is still bonus money with outstanding wagering. Only after full wagering does it become withdrawable real money.
The most common stumbling blocks
From many conversations we know the mistakes that happen most often to new players with the bonus. Almost all of them can be avoided with little effort:
- Reading the terms only after activation. Five minutes beforehand save a lot of trouble afterwards.
- Switching to a live table with an active bonus. Wagering barely progresses there.
- Postponing free spins to the next evening. A day is over quickly.
- Running two bonuses at the same time. Wagering and deadlines can then hardly be tracked cleanly.
- Depositing more to max out a cap. The cap is a maximum, not a target.
- Ramping up stakes shortly before expiry. That is the fastest way to blow a budget.
- Requesting a withdrawal with an open bonus. Depending on the conditions, the bonus and winnings can be forfeited.
Our roadmap for the first weeks at EgoGames
Anyone new to EgoGames who does not want to think about it for long can follow this roadmap, which we would recommend ourselves:
- Set a budget for the first month.
- Verify the account before playing at all, so that later withdrawals do not have to wait.
- Use stage one with an amount that fits comfortably into the budget.
- Start the 110 spins on Gates of Olympus 1000 on the same day.
- Work through the wagering on calmer slots from the "Bonus Wagering" section.
- Only then decide whether stage two is needed at all.
This roadmap has one big advantage: it keeps every decision small. Nobody has to decide on the first day whether all four stages will be used.
And if it becomes clear after the first stage that bonus play is not to one's taste, that too is a valuable result. Many players only realise with the first wagering whether focused spinning on slots is really fun or whether they would rather switch freely between live tables, Mini Games and slots. Both are welcome at EgoGames, and anyone who lets the package rest after one stage misses nothing that does not come back in another way via cashback, Coin Shop and weekly offers.
Handling the bonus responsibly
A welcome bonus is an invitation, not an assignment. It changes nothing about the fact that gambling can lead to losses and be addictive. Every round remains random, whether played with bonus money or real money.
Anyone who notices that bonus offers tempt them into higher deposits or that wagering is becoming a burden should take a break. Via the live chat, we set up a self-exclusion at any time and without questions. Further information is collected on the page player protection and responsible gambling. Independent and free advice is offered by the BZgA, the German gambling addiction helpline, on 0800 1 37 27 00, and by the check-dein-spiel.de platform with a self-test and online programme.

Four stages, a calm start
The EgoGames welcome package is built so that nobody has to decide everything at once. One stage after another, with clear numbers and without time pressure. Anyone looking for variety in between will find quick rounds in our Mini Games, and anyone who likes to compete against others drops by the Battles. Participation from 18 only. Gambling is not a way to earn an income and can be addictive. Support is offered by the BZgA, the German gambling addiction helpline, on 0800 1 37 27 00 and by check-dein-spiel.de.
